March – 3/26/12 − 3/30/12
While the weather might be undecided; in Pantomima we have been enjoying spring all over. Our children keep tracking spring sprout and growth and enjoying this beautiful season.
As we see how these tiny caterpillars keep eating and growing children had the opportunity to use some art materials and recycled items to make spring animals. While working we took advantage to practice our numbers and colors… Emil ¿Cúantas hojas pudiste dibujar?
Look our caterpillars! They are growing so fast and children love to see how they move and prepare for their new metamorphosis. A few Pupas are covered by their chrysalis already.
And what about our flowers? Little seeds are taking little steps every day as we take turns to water them and track their progress. “Nuestras florecitas” grow slowly and we can see few leaves already.
Don’t think we forgot about the doctor’s day. We had pretended games about doctor’s visits. We learned new words with the doctor’s “estetoscopio” and made some wooden stick doctor puppets utilizing empty boxes, paper and glue. Hey! Dr. Sol thanks for the prescription
