May 5/24/12 − 5/28/12

Along with the hot, warm weather more new experiences flourish in our educational atmosphere. As children get to know our space and environment they trust  it to grow with it. Now we can see more positive approaches from all our friends by sharing, using more words, participating, engaging and laughing while learning and understanding Spanish. Less conflicts and disturbance but more happiness and harmony when working together and interact as a group. Please enjoy these little images that present these new approaches within our program. Children posses an inner passion for painting and using their fine motor skills to work. As a continuation of our transportation lesson, our children made multiples vehicles utilizing varied recycled elements. Our younger group tried using our brushes to finally use their active hands to mix the paint up. Meanwhile, the bigger ones explore the mixing with brushes and other items like sponges and q-tips. Working as a group helps a lot to develop our taking turns strategy, sharing spaces and enjoying playing with our friends.

Vamos de Paseooo!! …One of our favorite songs. Children enjoy to dramatize this song as we imitate the driver driving, the baby crying, the daddy kissing, the people jumping and more…. Look how cute this is!
