Spring is here!!! And Pantomima is getting ready for such extraordinary and beautiful season. Our books reflect and identify our environment changes as the weather allows us to take the children outside daily to enjoy and interact directly with nature.
Our friends are learning about butterflies and in order to understand their life cycle better we decided to introduce books and real caterpillars to enhance their knowledge through real experiences. We have an empty butterfly garden and children were anxiously waiting for the little caterpillars to come in. Our caterpillar arrived at Pantomima last Friday night so we’ll keep you posted about our new insights from our friends after caterpillars eat all their food and get ready to sleep…
Gardening is always a rewarding experience for children. Toddler, preschoolers and even infants have an inner necessity to explore nature, to touch it and discover it through their senses. This is why we are introducing children into this great activity of gardening where they can play with dirt; understand what a flower needs to grow and how we can track its growth.
Our theatrical experiences are always in action. This week our pirates and captains were looking for spring signals with their kaleidoscope
. Our babies and toddlers pretended to be spring animals as the teachers encouraged them to extend that imaginative games by making animals’ sounds and imitating their characteristics.
